Full course description
This course will include information on:
• The qualifications of a print disability,
• Demonstration of assistive technology (AT) devices/services for the provision of AEM,
• Legal requirements for transition planning for students with disabilities,
• Planning AT transitions for college-bound students.
Participants for this course could include:
• K-12 special and general educators,
• Users of accessible educational materials or assistive technology,
• Department of vocational rehabilitation counselors,
• College and University support staff.
Continuing education credits, participants are eligible for:
• 16 CEUs or
• 1 PTSB credit or
• 1 University of Wyoming distance education credit (at additional cost to participant)
