Full course description

This virtual community was built by and for families of children with autism. Participants will learn about autism, interventions that can be used in home and school, and how systems of care work in Wyoming. Trained Family Mentors help lead every session in partnership with autism and behavior experts. The commitment of this community is to build a network of families who have the skills to support their own families and share those skills with other parents in similar circumstances.

The UW ECHO for Families is the first ECHO network that provides information directly to families and can be accessed anywhere in the state.

This program operates in partnership with the Wyoming Family Mentorship program to provide ongoing support to families as they help their children with autism thrive.

Sessions are on Wednesdays, biweekly from 12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. via Zoom video conferencing technology.
