BHA L1 Working with Diverse Populations. A course for the Wind River Community Healthcare Clinic BHA Level I trainees. In this training, you will build your foundational knowledge, awareness, and practical skills for serving individuals and families from a wide range of cultural, social, and historical backgrounds. As a Behavioral Health Aide (BHA) or helping professional in rural Wyoming, you will encounter clients whose experiences are shaped by ethnicity, race, age, gender, lifestyle, sexual orientation, spirituality, socioeconomic status, and community history. This course prepares you to engage with each person respectfully, thoughtfully, and effectively.
